Pro Steel Engineering and Fabrication was engaged by Infit to help complete the fit out for their new 24/7 gym that was being built in Kogarah in Sydney. The industrial warehouse complex had been recently built and they wanted to expand the huge space to have multiple levels so they could offer their range of services to even more clients to grow their business. Rather than move to another location they decided to work out how to add more training spaces or different areas within the space they already had.
 
To achieve this they needed a structural steel mezzanine designed, fabricated and installed to create the space they needed. A mezzanine is an intermediate floor that gets installed inside a building structure which is partly open to the ceilinged floor below or that doesn’t extend over the whole space of the floor space. It is a bit like a loft without walls.
 
Adding a mezzanine is a good way to make more effective use of space that is in a warehouse, storage facility or even a car park where it can be used to build offices, hold stock or for other business requirements.
